Evening in Ceylon Solid Perfume by Eliza Fragrances [Vintage Inspired]

Hello everyone! Its going to be 2012 and i still haven't uploaded my December perfume review! OoopS! Time flies ha.. Anyways i managed to make sometime and here we are :-) Im going to review a solid perfume today. Hope you ladies enjoy my review. :-)

Evening in Ceylon Solid Perfume by Eliza Fragrances

7g Solid: $10

Pretty isnt it :-)

The perfume comes in a really beautiful handmade box! It looks like a little gift.

Well unfortunately my box got a little crushed in the mail :-( But then again it still looks so beautiful.

So yes.. the perfume comes in a little tin and looks like lip balm :-) Its a really convenient package since we all love to carry our perfumes in our handbags. This is just perfect. Its small and convenient.

Now its perfume talk time ------->

Eliza Fragrances offers beautiful natural solid perfumes made using jojoba oil, beeswax and fragrance oils. Its almost all natural which we all totally love! The specialty of these scents are that they are all 'Vintage Inspired' So all the ladies who are crazy about Vintage stuff.. this perfume should be on top of your list :-)

The texture of the perfume is like lip balm.. very soft and easy to apply onto the skin.

Perfume Notes:

Intriguing and seductive. An exotic, mysterious blend of sweet citrus and bergamot, jasmine, carnation, and lily of the valley. A hypnotic union of patchouli, vanilla, and amber make up the base notes.
(Inspired by Yves Saint Laurent Opium)

Im not sure why but this perfume smells very sweet and spicy to me.. its like a beautiful blend of spices.. maybe because of the name of the perfume or if its the perfume itself. Im not sure. If you look at the notes you will notice that it has nothing that would trigger a spicy smell.. well maybe its my nose :-) Anyways its a warm, sweet and spicy scent! I just love it!

This perfume is a VERY STRONG scent.. but not overpowering.. its not something that will shout out loud. Its strong as soon as you apply it but it will slowly fade down and mix in with you and become a part of you. Making you smell rather spicy and interesting :-)

This is something you can use everyday.. its a casual everyday scent.. that mixes well with your body. Just apply a little bit on your pulse points (i.e. wrists, inside of elbows, sides of the neck below the jaw, etc.) and you will feel all perfumed up and ready to start your day!

Those of you who think spices is not your thing.. or that you want something more fruity or flowery or cologney or even powdery.. DONT WORRY. Eliza Fragrances provides a wide range of fragrances to suit everyone's needs. You can request a set of samples and you will be able to try out all the scents available and decide what suits you best.

This is a set of samples that i received:

How convenient :-)

If you want to know what are the other scents that i enjoyed.. i would suggest Nerfetari! Its such a soft, feminine and fruity scent!!!!!!!!!! Gorgeous!

So interested in Eliza Fragrances? Check out their website and facebook and get yourself a tin :-)

Will i recommend?

Dont you want to spend an Evening In Ceylon sipping a cup of Sweet Spicy Tea? :-)

  5. Love the name evening in Ceylon. I think its the warm amber note mixed in with patchouli that is giving off that spicy scent. Lovely review.
